To perform Rules based categorizations,

Go to Left Menu -> Transactions -> Rules
Click Create Rule

How to use rules based categorization:

Complete the following fields

Name: Provide a descriptive name for the rule
Priority: Set the priority for the rule (lower numbers run first)
Wallet: Choose the wallet the rule applies to
Coin (Optional): Choose the digital asset the rule should apply to. Leaving this blank means that the rule would apply to all digital assets
Categorize: Choose either simple categorization or ignore
Collapse Values: When there are multiple values of the same coin type on a single transaction, this option should be selected
Auto Reconcile: This option to very rarely be selected as it automatically categorizes and pushes transactions into your GL. It should not be selected until a significant amount of verification has been performed over time to gain confidence of rules setup and sync to your ERP
Auto-Categorize Fee: When selected this option will auto categorize the fees to the default Blockchain network fees account set up under the Accounting Setup option
Category Type: The "category" (or account) that the transaction activity should be booked to
Customer/Vendor: The "contact" (vendor, customer etc) that the transaction activity should be booked to
From Address (Optional): When provided the rule would ONLY apply to activity that is coming into the wallet from the defined "From address"
To Address (Optional): When provided the rule would ONLY apply to activity that is going out of the wallet to the defined "To address"
From Date (Optional): When provided the rule would ONLY apply to activity that is on or after the defined "From date"
To Date (Optional): When provided the rule would ONLY apply to activity that is on or before the defined "To date"
Direction: This defines the direction of the transaction that would be impacted by the rule (Inbound transactions, outbound transactions or transactions without a direction)
